Separation Mediation

Separation Mediation refers to mediating between UNMARRIED PARENTS regarding parenting issues.

In some instances mediation is compulsory by law. It is within separation mediation that this applies. Section 21 of the Children’s Act 38 of 2005 specifically refers to Mediation as the means parties MUST undertake to resolve issues relating to their parental rights and responsibilities.
